Overkill's The Walking Dead Reveals Grant in New Character Trailer
Starbreeze, 505 Games, and Overkill are showing off latest character Grant in an all-new trailer for The Walking Dead.
The Walking Dead continues to be a fan favorite series no matter what the medium, and judging by early buzz for developer Overkill's upcoming co-op first person title, that trend isn't likely to change any time soon. The studio has so-far revealed two character trailers for both Aidan and Maya, and now the third has arrived, giving players a glimpse into the life of the hard-hitting old timer known as Grant.
As can be seen in the video featured above, Grant is by no means fazed by the zombie menace, spending some quality time in an abandoned car with the jawless and gore-dripping previous owner of the vehicle. Grant himself seems to long for days before the outbreak, though it must be said that his booze-swilling personality and gruff salt-and-pepper beard seem like a perfect fit for the post-apocalyptic world.
Like many of the other characters showcased in previous videos, Grant is a man with his own personal demons, though his motivations toward finding his granddaughter seem to be pure. Of course, he's but one of several familiar faces that players will be able to control when The Walking Dead and its beautifully-detailed cooperative action release for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC later this year.
