Right now folks with both a Humble Bundle and Steam account can get their hands on a free copy of The Flame in the Flood. All players have to do to get the latest freebie is head over to the Humble Bundle site, log in, add the game to their cart, and proceed to checkout. 

For those not familiar with The Flame in the Flood, it's a light-rogue-like where players explore a vast wasteland with their canine companion. Players will salvage through wreckage and waste for resources and ride their makeshift raft down sometimes treacherous perpetually generated rivers. If players can't keep up with their rest, hunger and other physical factors, they may just find themselves as wolf chow. The Flame in the Flood has a visual style that's both vibrant and bleak at the same time, depending on what area or trepidations you're facing at the time. And it has a pedigree of industry vets who worked on it as well including BioShock's art director. 

Would-be survivors who pick up a copy of The Flame in the Flood will also get a 10% coupon discount for the Humble Monthly Bundle, a monthly blind box of games curated by the Humble Bundle staff.
