Stardock's Offworld Trading Company is an intellectual game that explores business across other planets that span the galaxy. Like the fantastic Gazillionaire before it, you work against the (often greedy) competition to help grow your business as you manage resources, buy out other companies, and become as successful as you possibly can.

If that sounds like something that might interest you, Offworld Trading Company is lifting its normal requirement of "paying Stardock money" to let you give it a spin this weekend without parting with any funds. But be quick about it, because the free weekend is only available through May 6 at 1 PM ET.

You'll be able to play through the full game, including multiplayer, with up to eight others in competitive matches, or you can just play alone all weekend. If you like what you see, you'll only need to spend $19.99 to make it yours permanently, a 50% discount over the game's normal price.
