If you've been a supporter of KSV esports, the entity that recently signed a deal to equip its athletes with Razer accessories, you may have received an official kit in the mail this week. KSV is an esports collaboration between Silicon Valley and Seoul and this new kit signals a rebrand to Gen.G (Generation Gaming).

The box that contained the gear from Gen.G comes with this message:

"We are proud to announce the rebrand of KSV to Gen.G with a new name, logo, and vision. Our new name, Gen.G, stands for Generation Gaming - which symbolizes the redefinition of the potential of gaming by this generation. To help realize this potential, Gen.G strives to establish the gold standard of global esports to define and usher in this new era.
None of this is possible without your continued support for KSV and, now, Gen.G."

Gen.G's first team was Overwatch League's Seoul Dynasty, who signed Heo 'Gambler' Jin-woo back in February. In addition to Razer, Gen. G 's Overwatch League team is also sponsored by Netgear, which launched its Nighthawk Pro Gaming brand during CES 2018. In the images, you can see Razer and Nighthawk branding on the new jersey.

As of Stage 3, Week 4, Seoul Dynasty is in fourth place in the Overwatch League standings with 18 wins and 10 losses. New York Excelsior is in first, Boston Uprising is in second, and London Spitfire is in third. Stay tuned to Shacknews for more esports updates.
