Head Into the Zombie Apocalypse as State of Decay 2 Technical Beta Sign Ups Open
You probably never knew people were this eager to volunteer to be eaten by zombies, did you?
Microsoft and Undead Labs are about to launch the zombie survival game State of Decay 2 later on this month, and it's going to be a big release for Xbox fans and anyone who loves running away from bloodthirsty zombies. That's just about everyone, right? If you're interested in giving it a try, you can sign up for the technical beta that's open for eager zombie slayers to jump into right now, as long as you're on PC.
You can head on over to the State of Decay 2 website to complete a survey about your gaming habits, favorite games, whether you're into playing solo or multiplayer, and a plethora of other things. You'll also need to use the DirectX Diagnostic Tool that will take a look at your system specs while it's at it. Once that's done, you've got to sit back and wait for access, and hopefully you'll get in!
If you can't stand the wait for the full game, you don't have too much longer to wait. Just get through the rest of the month, and you can play it on Xbox One and PC on May 22. You won't even have to purchase it if you're an Xbox Game Pass subscriber. It'll be available on launch day for free for Xbox Game Pass members to pick up and play throughout its entirety for free, so that's one good perk you can count on. Just don't get eaten by those shambling hordes, now.
