Disgaea 1 Complete Brings Its Wacky Brand of Strategy to PS4 and Nintendo Switch

Round up your Prinny squad! The HD remake of PlayStaton 2's zany strategy title Disgaea: Hour of Darkness has been confirmed for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. That means it's finally time for you to experience the cult classic in a brand new form, with lots of updates to graphics, audio options, and a brand new mode!
The game gets a full HD update, with English and Japanese audio options, including both English and French subtitles. Surprisingly, there's a new Etna Mode, which includes new characters and plenty more to discover while playing.
If you're a huge Disgaea fan and can't wait to get your paws on this new release, you can preorder the $50 standard version or the $100 Rosen Queen's Finest Edition, which is available via NIS America's online store. It comes with the game for PS4 or Switch, an art book, enamel pin set, Orthodox Prinny coaster set, Noppai Etna flat mousepad, soundtrack, two posters, Prinny Cube plush, a Certificate of Authenticity, and a Prinny Pouch collector's box.
Unfortunately, there's no set release date for the updated game, but we'll see it this year. Make sure you nab the special edition quickly if that's the one you've got your heart set on, because it's likely to go fast. It's pretty extravagant, and $100 isn't a bad price for all those extras.
