Don't Get Cooked, Stay Off The Hook at E3 2018's Nintendo Splatoon 2 Inkling World Open
You've gotta do well so Marina and Pearl can cheer you on.
Registration is now open for this year's Splatoon 2 Inkling Open qualifier, which is an integral part of getting into the official Splatoon 2 World Championship 2018 event, happening this year at E3 2018. The world's best Splatoon 2 players from the U.S. and Canada will compete against each other in knock-down, drag-out brawls to see who's truly good enough to go on to the "big kid squid" tournament. That's the important one, kids, the one where the winners take the title of the best Splatoon 2 team.
Registration is currently open and hosted via Battlefy and will last until April 21 at 9 AM PST. You can register up to five members, with four key members and one alternate, to propel you to victory, and all members must be at least 13 years old. Make sure you've got your best squad together and head on over to get registered, and you'll be in for some good, old-fashioned inking. Just don't wear your good clothes.
The #Splatoon2 US/Canada Inkling Open 2018 qualifying tournament begins 4/21 at 11am PT. Get your squid squad ready, and register today for a chance to compete in the Splatoon 2 World Championship 2018! https://t.co/DkPbqApx3y pic.twitter.com/yH8nDhvqRs

Splatoon 2 has been out since July 21, 2017, and it's the sequel to Nintendo's newest IP. It's still chugging along with regular competitions, updates, and players splatting each other all over the world. The squid kids are even making an appearance in the newest Super Smash Bros. game, though to what capacity, we're not sure. It's an excellent game, and if you happen to be good enough to make it to the World Championship tournament, then squid hats off to you. You deserve it.
