Level-5 Wants To Recreate 3DS Success By Bringing All Future Titles To Nintendo Switch
The developer will debut on the Switch with a couple releases in Japan this year.
A report reveals that Level-5, the development team behind Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom and Rogue Galaxy, intends to release all of their upcoming main titles on the Nintendo Switch.
Gamasutra revealed the news, which was translated from an interview the Level-5 president Akihiro Hino had with Nikkei Trendy.
"Basically, in the future, our main titles will all be released on Nintendo Switch," commented Hino. "The idea is that what we have created for 3DS will move over to Switch."
This type of move is what many hoped for when the Nintendo Switch was revealed. Its combination of home and mobile gaming brings an opportunity for Nintendo to bring some of the 3DS franchises over to the Switch and Level-5 recognizes that chance. Level-5 will debut on Switch later this month with The Snack World: Trejarers in Japan and Inazuma Eleven Ares later this year.
