Omensight Headed To PS4, New Narrative Trailer Revealed
Murder mystery meets groundhog day in this new adventure from Spearhead Games.
Spearhead Games debuted Omensight at PAX 2018 back in March, leaving a solid impression on me with an experience I describe as groundhog day with a murder mystery. The dev team will be at PAX East this weekend and, in celebration, revealed the new narrative trailer and announced that the adventure will be coming to PS4.
"You were brought back to the last dawn" the narrator begins in the trailer, speaking to the all-powerful character players will be taking control of. As the Harbinger, players will have to travel down various narrative paths to gather all the clues to sold a mystery before the Void swallows everything whole. After each trip down a branch, the day begins anew and you maneuver using your new bits of information.Our first impressions from the PAX South hands-on with Omensight is a good place to get an idea of what to expect from the gameplay.
The game features a collection of companions and, while they are very useful in combat, they are all murder suspects as well. The reveal for PS4 means an even larger install base will have an opportunity to experience this title and we'll be checking out an updated build at PAX East this week.
