GDC 2018: Exclusive Once Upon a Coma Interview

When the parents are away, the kids will experience untold psychological horror.

Once Upon a Coma is an indie game currently in development by Serenity Forge and Atmos Games, and we had the opportunity to play it, and chat with the team, at GDC 2018. This stark game introduces you to a boy name Pete who, after waking up from a coma, discovers that all adults are missing.

As a kid, this is obviously great news, but unfortunately the world has become rather Burtonesque with adults turning into grotesque zombies. Gameplay is a mix of action side-scrolling with a focus on puzzling solving. You can check out our interview about this psychological narrative adventure game below:

You can follow the progress of Once Upon a Coma over at Serenity Forge or at Atmos Games. Once Upon a Coma is set to release in September on PC, before the end of the year on Nintendo Switch, and early next year on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
