Reign & Reign: Her Majesty Coming To Nintendo Switch With Exclusive Local Co-op

Reigns: Kings & Queens brings both titles to the hybrid console with a unique feature.

In addition to welcoming Lumines and The Banner Saga franchises to the Switch, text adventure Reigns is revealed to be coming along for the ride. The Nintendo Switch version of Reigns, called Kings & Queens, includes the first game and Her Majesty and features an exclusive local co-op multiplayer mode. Anyone excited to play the text adventure set in a fictional medieval world won’t have to wait for long as it launches this spring.

Indies have continued to have success on the Switch and part of that is Nintendo’s efforts to highlight and promote the many games indie devs are bringing to them. This is largely done by the Nindie showcase and this week’s stream produced some great news for those that have yet to experience Reigns.

In Reigns, players face a seemingly never-ending series of requests from peasants, allies and enemies as a monarch of the modern age. By swiping left or right in the game, players impose their will on the kingdom and must be careful not to let the kingdom fall apart under their watch.
