Over the years I've come to realize I'm of the contrary opinion that Perfect Dark on N64 was not a good game. While GoldenEye suffered from occasional slowdown, some of it egregious, Perfect Dark was unplayable most of the time, even with the RAM pak inserted. That game was ahead of its time and the hardware simply couldn't carry the load. It didn't come into its own until the remaster on Xbox 360, and by then shooters had moved on.
