Kirby Star Allies Welcomes King DeDeDe & Meta Knight To Roster

Characters from across the Kirby series will be included in future updates. The demo for Kirby Star Allies is available in the Nintendo store now.

The March Nintendo Direct is stuffed full of game announcements and we got some cool details for Kirby Star Allies. Beyond Kirby, the supporting cast serves as the star of this new entry and some familiar faces were announced during the direct.

King DeDeDe, Meta Knight, and Bandana Waddle Dee were revealed as new additions to the roster of friends Kirby will be able to bring along during his journey. Other characters, or Dream Friends as they're called in Star Allies, will be added to the game post-launch. A few characters from past Kirby titles were teased, including Gooey from Kirby's Dream Land 3.

Kirby Star Allies launches March 16, 2018, on the Nintendo Switch.
