A New XCOM 2 Expansion May Be Coming Soon

Some diligent fans have spotted some heightened activity on the Steam page.

It's been somewhat quiet since Firaxis Games released the War of the Chosen expansion for XCOM 2, but that may be changing soon. Some fans have spotted what seems to evidence that the dev is working on a new expansion.

Unknown App? Sounds riveting.

Game Watcher reports that there has been a lot of activity around XCOM 2’s Steam page as of late. Fans even caught the listing for a new piece of DLC on the Steam database, but its currently just called “SteamDB Unknown App 785300” and was added a couple months ago. Its clear what fan or fans Game Watcher references, but we’ll try attribute credit if we figure it out.

Beyond this bit of info, there’s no telling what Firaxis has in store. War of the Chosen performed really well for the developer and XCOM 2, one of the best turn-based strategy games in recent years, certainly has some more life in it. We’ll update as more information is made available.
