The DICE Awards are here, and while they’re certainly no Shacknews Awards, is an excellent opportunity to celebrate video games in all their glory. This year’s DICE Awards are set to be hosted by Jessica Chobot of Nerdist News and Kinda Funny’s Greg Miller.

How to Watch DICE Awards

The DICE Awards will be presented via IGN Entertainment over on the IGN Twitch Channel. The award show begins at 8PM PT / 11PM ET on February 23 – so right about now! You can also watch it through the IGN YouTube Channel, for those who prefer that platform. According to the Interactive.org site, sixty-eight games from 2017 will be fighting for their shot at an award. There are dozens of different categories ranging from Outstanding Achievement in Animation to the D.I.C.E. Sprite Award, with five nominations per section.

Game of the Year is between five of the most prolific games of 2017: Cuphead, Horizon Zero Dawn, PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS, Super Mario Odyssey, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. If I were a betting man, my money would be on Breath of the Wild taking away top billing. I mean, it’s our pick for Game of the Year and deserves all the accolades it can get.
