Sonic and Pac-Man Have Epic Mobile Crossovers For A Limited Time
Hey, you got your Sonic in my Pac-Man!
Ever wanted to see Pac-Man and Sonic the Hedgehog in the same game? Your wish has been granted, as there's a special event going on right now brought to you by Bandai Namco and Sega. Pac-Man and his pac-wife Ms. Pac-Man are going to be making an appearance in the Sonic Dash mobile game, and Sonic himself will be speeding into Pac-Man for both iOS and Android.
It's all in a bid to celebrate the fifth anniverary of endless runner Sonic Dash, which will feature both Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man as special guest stars for the next month until March 20.
You can opt to run as either Pac-spouse in the game with four different one-week special character events. There's a wealth of Power Pellets to collect and a new Bash the Ghost boss battle. If you grab enough of the fruits, bells, and keys during the event, you'll be able to add both Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man to your character collection from then on.
Additionally, Sonic himself will be heading into the vanilla Pac-Man game to dash through a maze-like Green Hill Zone wrought with rings, Moto Bugs, and six new stages to explore. There's also a special Sonic Tournament mode to take part in so you can test your mettle against other fans. If you play the game between now and March 20, you'll get the Sonic Maze content in your regular Pac-Man game forever, but you'll have to make sure you nab it now or it won't be unlockable after that.
Both Pac-Man and Sonic Dash are up for free right now via the App Store and Google Play store, so make sure you nab them if you're interested in seeing what these crossovers have to offer.
