Metal Gear Survive - How to Craft

Metal Gear Survive is a game that flips the script on the original game series you may be familiar with, focusing on survival elements and everything that comes with them. That means you'll need to know how to gather important crafting materials and utilize them while in the field. As you make your way through what's left of Mother Base and interact with tons of bloodthirsty zombies, you'll need to keep your wits about you and craft if you know what's good for you. You can create essentially anything you ned, from weapons to healing items and everything in between, including traps to keep the beasties at bay.
How To Craft In Metal Gear Survive
Crafting can be performed in the Staging Area that you enter when you first go to join a game or your base. If you choose the Staging Area, there are different workbenches to choose from, each corresponding to a different set of items you can create. For instance, you have the Weapons Workbench, Gear Workbench, Construction Terminal, Campfire, and Gadgets Workbench to choose from. Most of these workbenches are self-explanatory, but you can cook meals to eat at the Campfire, and you can create areas at your base with the Construction Terminal to keep improving and upgrading. You'll need to use all the various workbenches at least once at some point during your time with the game, so get to know them pretty intimately.
If you're going to be doing some crafting, however, you're going to need resources. Just like in any other game (mobile games, especially) you'll need to gather different items to utilize for crafting. You'll need things like metal, wood, scraps, and other construction-type items you can find around the world of Metal Gear Survive. You'll need to collect as much as you possibly can if you want to have a decent store of items at your disposal, so make sure you take the time out to gather resources when you can.
You can head to any workbench when you have the materials necessary to start building the item you have your eye on and start building from there. You need to select the item you want to build, confirm your selection, and the crafting process will begin. The item you craft will then be added to your inventory. You're all set! Now lather, rinse, and repeat.
