Rocket League Tournaments Beta Dates Announced
Get your calendar cleared next weekend if you want to get a taste of Rocket League’s newest feature.
Two weeks ago, Psyonix laid out their plans for the future of Rocket League via a Spring Roadmap. While the posting outlined a set of new updates for the game, including cross-platform parties, tournaments, and quality of life improvements, there were no specific dates for when these additions would make an appearance. Today, Psyonix announced that the upcoming beta for the new tournaments feature will begin February 21 and run through the weekend on Steam.
The newest blog posting from Psyonix explained how users can get into the beta:
How do you get into the beta? Easy! If you own a copy of Rocket League on Steam, all you’ll need to do, starting February 21, is 1) go to your Steam Library on your computer and right-click Rocket League, 2)choose ‘Properties,’ 3) click the ‘BETAS’ tab in the pop-up window, and 4) choose ‘Tournaments Beta’ from the drop-down list. After closing the pop-up window, your Steam client will update Rocket League to the beta.
