Will Ubisoft Release The Division 2 and Watch Dogs 3 by End of Fiscal Year?
What does the publisher have up its sleeve for next years big releases?
As mega-publisher Ubisoft held is quarterly earnings conference call, a Resetera forum poster with a quick eye caught a snippet of information contained in one of the information slides relating to projected earnings for fiscal year 2018-2019. Ubisoft expects improved sales number based on the release of four AAA games in the fiscal year ending in April 2019. Two of those games, The Crew 2 and Skull & Bones, have already been shown to the public. With other Ubisoft franchises like For Honor, Assassin’s Creed, Ghost Recon, and South Park seeing recent releases, speculation is pointing towards new entries in the Watch Dogs and The Division franchises.
While The Division developer Massive is believed to be working on an Avatar movie tie-in, Ubisoft has stated that the project will not release until the movie is ready. It has been three years since the release of the original Division and the team has been celebrating the recent positive reception to the game’s 1.8 update. Like The Division, the Watch Dogs franchise has not seen a major release in a while, leading to speculation that a third installment could be incoming.
What other Ubisoft franchises could be on the horizon that are capable of moving enough units to justify the lofty sales expectations contained in the earning outlook? Let us know in the comments.

This re-review has a good section on a typical week of gameplay in the game now. Sounds great, especially if you play coop.
