The next piece of Middle-earth: Shadow of War DLC drops today and it should be a welcome addition to anyone looking for story content.

Players who haven't had quite enough adventure in Mordor are getting a little bit more story with the next piece of DLC for Middle-earth: Shadow of War. But the next story expansion won't put players in the role of Talion this time around.

The Blade of Galadriel Story Expansion puts players in the role of Eltariel, the elite Elven warrior. She's a deadly assassin in the service of Elven Queen, Galadriel. Her effectiveness and ruthless precision have given her the moniker Blade of Galadriel and now she's taking her dual Elven blades and heading to Mordor to hunt down the Nazgul.

This story content will include new Nemesis characters, eight Legendary Orcs, and an unlockable Eltariel skin that can be used in the main campaign.

For those who aren't looking to spend money, there's also a free update that offers a few tweaks and upgrades to the Nemesis System. Look for Orc Captains to show some new traits and behaviors, such as Tunnel Rat, Sniper Shot, Tremor, and Gifts of Treasure. The latter trait will bring players a Treasure Orc, which should make grinding for currency a little easier.

Other pieces of this update include upgrades for Photo Mode, a Training Orders update, a player stats page, and new field of view options.

Anyone interested in the Blade of Galadriel Story Expansion can pick it up for $14.99. It also comes with the Story Expansion Pass ($24.99) and the full Expansion Pass ($39.99).

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
