RiME Leads Free February PS Plus Games, With A Far Cry Surprise
Knack, StarBlood Arena, and a handful of others bolster this next series of PlayStation Plus games. The bonus one may rub long-time subscribers the wrong way, though.
As is routine, the PlayStation Plus blog has revealed the upcoming titles that will be spotlighted in February. There are some popular titles leading the charge as the two highlights and a major VR experience bolstering from that point, but there's an additional treat for the month of February. If you haven't subscribed to PS Plus, new subscribers during the month of February that sign up for 12 months will receive a digital copy of Far Cry 4 for free.
Far Cry 4 was an incredible entry for the FPS franchise. It earned a spot in our Game of the Year conversation for that year (2014) and also had one of the greatest villain performances in gaming. This news, which was reported by Express.co, is a great treat for those that want to get into a rhythm before Far Cry 5 releases March 27 and is a great bonus for new subs that Sony will likely benefit from, by current subscribers may feel slighted. We'll have to wait and see if this becomes a new model for PS Plus going forward but, for now, enjoy!
February's full PlayStation Plus lineup includes:
- RiME (PS4)
- Knack (PS4)
- StarBlood Arena (PSVR - Available through March 6)
- Spelunker HD (PS3)
- Mugen Souls Z (PS3)
- Exiles End (PS Vita)
- Grand Kingdom (PS Vita/PS4)
