Dragon Ball FighterZ - How to Do Dramatic Finishes and Dramatic Intros

Do more than best your opponent at their own game. Give them a Dramatic Finish, and find out how to do that here!

Dragon Ball FighterZ is chock full of different, stylish maneuvers. You can pummel your opponents into dust, but what fun is that without being super dramatic about it? That’s where Dramatic Finishes and Dramatic Intros come in, where you can start and complete battles with special flair. Dramatic Finishes and Dramatic Intros are cinematic sequences taken from the Dragon Ball time that you can perform in the game to see some flashy animated goodness. There isn’t a lot of info out there currently on how to pull these special moves off just yet, but here’s how you can perform some of the confirmed finishers and what you get with them. You’ll be a style master in Dragon Ball FighterZ yet.

How to Perform a Dramatic Finish

If you’re interested in pulling off a Dramatic Finish in Dragon Ball FigherZ, first you need to set up the correct stage with the correct character. Your opponent needs to be a specific choice as well. To pull off the attack when the match ends, make sure you land a neutral Heavy Attack. If you do anything else, you probably won’t be lucky enough to see the Dramatic Finish. You may even need to start destroying the stage by pulling off a level 3 super move to make this happen. For now, here are the known Dramatic Finish locations and prerequisites:

Teen Gohan: You must choose Cell for your opponent and use the Cell Games Arena. You can’t have Goku on either team, and the stage must end up being destroyed.

Beerus: You must choose Goku for your opponent and use the Space stage. Alternatively, you can use Goku Black as your opponent with any stage, but Goku Black has to be below 10% health when Beerus’s super attack is used.

Goku: You must use Frieza for your opponent and use the Planet Namek stage. Make sure you destroy the stage.

Trunks: You must use Frieze for your opponent and use the Rocky Field (Noon) stage.

Nappa: You must use Yamcha as your opponent and use the Rocky Field (Noon) stage.

Goku: You must use Kid Buu as your opponent and use the Land of the Kais stage.

Yamcha: You must use Nappa as your opponent and use the Rocky Field (Noon) stage.

How to Perform a Dramatic Intro

To pull off a Dramatic Intro, you need to start your match with a specific character, just like with Dramatic Finishes. You can skip your cinematic if you do end up getting one, but your opponent can do so too, so it might be best to try and set these up when playing alone instead of in multiplayer or online matches. Not all of the Dramatic Intros have been discovered yet, but here are some of the available ones:

Krillin: You must use Nappa as your opponent on the Rocky Field stage.

Teen Gohan: You must use Cell as your opponent on the Cell Games Arena stage without Android 16 on either team.

Goku: You must use Frieza as your opponent on the Planet Named stage without Krillin on either team.
