BioWare Confirms New Dragon Age In The Works
Despite the overwhelming pressure surrounding Anthem, BioWare is laying the foundation for a new entry in their fantasy series.
Anthem's development has reached "all hands on deck" status along with a slight delay into 2019, but it looks like a tried-and-true franchise will be returning to the front lines soon after Anthem is released. Executive Producer Mark Darrah has confirmed that people are hard at work on the next Dragon Age.
Halfway through my trip to Barcelona!

I’m here showing Anthem internally to EA. I am EP of BOTH DA and Anthem working with @Bio_Warner as Game Director
Anthem’s up next but there are people hard at work on both franchises and I look forward to sharing more in the future
A report yesterday detailed a dark cloud hanging over the development of Anthem, but this new bit of news should serve as a beam of light shining through. RockPaperShotgun spotted this tweet from him and, hopefully, we'll get a few teases later in the year for what Dragon Age 4 will bring.
Inquisition was a well-received evolution of the Dragon Age formula and it will be interesting to see what new elements this next entry is built upon. The Anthem report shared that some "live" elements would be introduced, but it shouldn't get away from a strong narrative with intriguing characters.

2 was not a bad game. It probably started out as another add-on for DA that someone thought they could make a game out of. Either that or EA forced them to rush it out the door. Probably some combination of both. Take away the copy and paste levels and it there was a decent game there. Combat wasn't bad and I liked the story.

i dont know if they'll learn from their mistakes. i mean they took all of what made inquisition awful and turned it into a mass effect game with andromeda, even though it was a different team(surely they had cross studio heads to oversee how a new team was doing things with their most important franchise?)
