Weekend Console Download Deals for 1/12: 3DS Hits Go On Sale

The holiday sales continue their slow trot around the home stretch, with PlayStation's Holiday Sale crawling to the finish line. Many of those games are on sale, but there are a handful of games from a few weeks ago that are not. So catch whatever's still out there. Meanwhile, Xbox One owners will get a chance to pick up Halo 5, along with a handful of indie games.

But this is a good weekend to help bolster your handheld library. Nintendo is offering a handful of discounts on a number of first and third-party Nintendo 3DS games. Games like Super Mario Maker, Yoshi's Woolly World, and the Professor Layton franchise are there, so maybe give this a look, in case you're planning on traveling soon.
