Hazelight Studios' A Way Out Gets New Trailer And Release Date
The co-op action-adventure experience is breaking out sooner than players may have been expected.
Following a fair amount of foul language and only the occasional sidebar, Hazelight Studio's resident bad boy Josef Fares introduced an all-new trailer for A Way Out, the "cinematic story-driven co-op game" from the creators of Brothers where two players work together to survive a variety of different criminal enterprises. It's been a while since players have gotten a look at Fares' latest creation, and it must be said that it's shaping up well. Check out the new trailer featured below.
On top of a fresh look at the necessarily-multiplayer title, players also finally got word on when they can jump into the shoes of Leo and Vincent. We won't have to wait long, as A Way Out is landing on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PCs on March 23.
Update 08:45 p.m.: But wait! There's more. In addition to the reveal of the March release date, publisher EA has announced via press release that players will be able to take advantage of A Way Out's unique friends pass free trial, which allows players who don't yet own the game to enjoy the experience with another player who has purchased the title. Since cooperative action is a core component of A Way Out, this means a much broader player base will be able to enjoy the latest of what Hazelight Studios' latest has to offer.
