Call of Duty: WW2 Live-Action Trailers Get the Band Back Together
Take an 'Ocean's 11' plotline, sprinkle in some Royal Blood, and you've got the next batch of live-action trailers to hype up the newest Call of Duty.
There are certain elements of the annual Call of Duty release cycle that are like clockwork. There's the single-player trailer, multiplayer reveal celebration, and zombies. Always lots of zombies! But there's also the annual live-action trailer that shows real people getting ready to gather around the TV for some Call of Duty. Call of Duty: WWII is no different, debuting a new live-action trailer on Sunday morning.
This year's trailer has an atmosphere similar to "Ocean's 11," in the sense that it's all about getting the old band back together. After all, the series is going back to World War II, so it's all about the older player base grabbing their friends and getting ready to jump back into the CoD game.
Fans of Royal Blood will be pleased to hear the band's single "Figure It Out" featured prominently in the video below.
Those looking for a more international flavor can find completely different videos for the UK and French regions below. They're different enough that they're worth a look, so check those out, as well.
Call of Duty: WWII arrives on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on November 3.
