SNES Classic New York Launch Party
Shacknews correspondent Chris Buffa headed off to New York to cover the launch of the Super NES Classic at the Nintendo World Store.
Millions of gamers partied like it was 1991 on Friday, September 29, when Nintendo released the Super NES Classic, a miniaturized version of the Super NES with 20 retro games and the never-before-released Star Fox 2 baked into its circuits. Chris Buffa, friend of the site and senior editor at Prima Games, was on hand to cover the mini console's launch at Nintendo's retail store in New York. (Shack apologizes for Buffa's pronunciation of "SNES." Kids these days.)
