Sonic Forces Gameplay Video Focuses on Free Shadow DLC

In addition to the main Sonic Forces campaign, Shadow the Hedgehog will get his own set of levels for free, with Sega releasing a first-look video.

It's been a good year so far for Sonic the Hedgehog. It's been such a good year that it's been pretty easy to forget that Shadow the Hedgehog is still a thing. He is still a thing, though, and he'll be taking part in the upcoming Sonic Forces as part of a free add-on pack.

Sega released the first footage of Sonic Forces' Episode Shadow DLC, three stages that will take place prior to the game's main storyline. It will also explore the origins of new villain, Infinite, and reveal where Shadow decides to stand in the conflict between Infinite and Sonic.

For a look at Shadow's gameplay, check out the video below. Sonic Forces (along with Episode Shadow) arrives on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch on November 7.
