The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition Is Free on Xbox One This Weekend
Xbox Live Gold members will have full access to the game until Sunday night.
Starting today, those with an Xbox Live Gold membership can play The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition for free until Sunday, September 10 at 11:59 p.m. PDT. Announced earlier this morning by Bethesda.
Four days surely won’t be enough time to experience Skyrim’s endless number of quests, dragons, adventures, and glitches. With that in mind, players can purchase and own the game permanently as Skyrim is on sale for 50% off from now until September 18. If one chooses to purchase the game after the free weekend has ended, all of their progress and achievements will remain intact.
Skyrim will cost you about 16.4 GB of storage on your Xbox One. The hit RPG was also recently announced for the Nintendo Switch, and is scheduled to hit the portable-console hybrid sometime this Fall.
