Total War: Warhammer 2 Minimum PC Requirements

Creative Assembly and Sega detail what hardware you need for stomping Greenskins.

Originally announced back in March of this year, Total War: Warhammer II is the followup to Creative Assembly’s hit RTS from 2016. The original Total War: Warhammer was a technical marvel and required a beefy PC to get the absolute best performance during the giant battles. It is still being used as a CPU and GPU benchmark today.

The sequel will be adding a graphical overhaul to the bloody proceedings, including the additions of ambient occlusion, wet surfaces, and god rays. With the sequel set to amp up all parts of the original experience, fans may have been wondering what kind of hardware would be needed to deliver the sprawling battles between the Skraven, High Elves, and Dark Elves at a full 60fps. Creative Assembly has released a detailed specs list that covers a few performance targets.

Minimum Required Specs

Expected around 25-35 FPS on campaign map and in a 1v1, 20 units vs 20 units battle, default graphics preset set to "Low", running at 1280x720

• RAM: 4GB/5GB*

• Video Card: NVIDIA GTX 460 1GB | AMD Radeon HD 5770 1GB | Intel HD4000 @ 720p
