Please let us know how we can improve the show in the comments section.

As someone who worked at Shack for years trying to push our team to make this a better place with an emphasis on community and jumping in to interact with everyone when people hated the company's redesign and to make sure they knew they had advocates, the comment that the GameFly staff was disconnected from Chatty early in this episode made me (and Brian Leahy) super salty.

I accidentally stuck my foot in my mouth. To explain (posted this in a Twitter thread):
No disrespect intended to Xav or other former staff. I sincerely apologize for any offense. I should explain what I meant as someone from the outside looking in at that time.
I was a big fan of Weekend Confirmed. Listened weekly until the show ended and thought all hosts were articulate, fun, and knowledgeable. But there was some sentiment amongst Chatty that some of the hosts didn't seem as tuned in to Shackers as they did other forums. I don't know that I ever expressed that, but other Chatty members did and I tended to agree. That was all I meant.
I shouldn't have made the comment at all, and the way I phrased it made it come across as a blanket condemnation of all former GameFly staff, which was unintentional.-
I was former GameFly. I busted my ass for chatty and the site. But knowing David as I do, I'm sure it was a unintentional slip. GameFly screwed Shack in many ways, but not through a majority of the editorial staff that were there and tried hard to bring some editorial integrity to the corporate-ness.
