Developer Tequila Works called an audible right at the end of 2016 for their game Rime, which was understood to be a PS4 exclusive up until December. In January, it was confirmed that the adventure puzzler would be coming to Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC in addition to PS4. On May 26th, Rime released on all but the Switch and owners of the home/mobile hybrid have been waiting for a release date to be set in stone. They can rejoice now, as Tequila Works has set a November 14th release date for the US with Europe receiving the game a few days later on the 17th.

"As big fans of Nintendo, we truly appreciate our fans’ patience as Tantalus and Tequila Works continue working on RiME on Nintendo Switch; we are all committed to making sure all players get the high-quality experience they deserve," says Raúl Rubio Munárriz, CEO and creative director of Tequila Works, in the press release.

It’s good to see that Switch didn’t get completely left out of the fun for what looks like a really enjoyable, high-profile title.

The press release for the announcement reveals that there will be a standard digital edition on the Nintendo eShop for $29.99 and a physical edition at retailers for $39.99. The retail copy is a special edition that will include a code to download the game’s original score by David Garcia Diaz. If you haven’t already played, prepare yourself to unravel the mysteries of Rime’s beautiful world.
