Gamora, Haggar, And More Confirmed For Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite

That previously rumored MvC: Infinite roster is looking a little shaky now.

Hot off of all of the comic book love at San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite gets some new faces. Leading the charge is Gamora from Guardians of the Galaxy and, aligning with the Infinity War hype from the weekend, she shows off the Mind Stone for the first time.

Frank West from Dead Rising, Haggar from Final Fight, Nemesis from Resident Evil, and Spider-Man join Gamora in this reveal, giving fans their first look at their combos and supers for MvC: Infinite. The trailer keeps the pace high as the characters trade in and out for different moves and, toward the end, the Mind Stone takes the stage. Gamora activates the Mind Stone for one attack that lifts an enemy character into the air and slams him to the ground, opening the character up for a combo. The other utilization of the stone is called "Infinity Storm" and it seems to max out the hyper gauge.

The appearance of one character in this reveal actually casts a larger shadow of doubt over the previously rumored 28 character launch roster that was void of Viewtiful Joe, Okami, X-Men, and Final Fight characters because Haggar is from the Final Fight series. Hopefully, we'll get even more surprises in the near future.

Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC on September 19th, 2017. Maybe the Time Gem will bring some new and old X-Men into this battle royale.
