PES 2018 Beta Live Through End of July
The beta will run through July 31, and offering comments will get you some in-game items after launch.
Are you ready for some futbol? PES 2018 is hoping you are as it has launched its open beta for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It will run through July 31.
The beta includes online co-op, online 3v3 matches, and quick match for 1v1 action. The good news for PS4 users is that you do not need PlayStation Plus to join. You can just download it and play. Unfortunately, Xbox One players must have Xbox Live Gold to participate. So its an open beta ... almost. There will be no cross platform play, and you won't be able to transfer your match record to the game once it launches.
The dev team is asking players to take a survey about the PES 2018 beta, and completing it will get you 10,000GP after the game launches and servers go down for maintenance on October 5. The only prerequisites are that your retail copy is the same platform as the one for your beta, and players must complete the myClub tutorial by October 1. The survey can be turned in until August 5.
PES 2018 launches on September 12 for PS4 and Xbox One. Check out our E3 interview with Adam Bhatti, Konami's global product and brand manager for PES, to get more details about the game.
