EVO 2017: Fatal Fury's Geese Howard invades Tekken 7 as DLC character

Akuma isn't the only cameo fighter in Tekken 7, as Geese Howard makes the jump from the Fatal Fury/King of Fighters world.

Following today's Dragon Ball FighterZ announcement, Tekken series producer Katsuhiro Harada had another reveal for Tekken 7. It was time to reveal a new character. A mysterious figure lurked in the shadows to haunt Heihachi, but this wasn't the invading Akuma from Street Fighter, but rather another cameo character. It was Geese Howard from Fatal Fury.

Geese showed off his Fatal Fury move set, which looks to translate to the Tekken style with little trouble. Those looking to check out Geese's fists of fury can check out the trailer below.

Look for Geese Howard to make his way to Tekken 7 as a DLC character this winter.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?

Haha that is neat. I remember thinking Heihachi seemed like a carbon copy of Geese back in the day.
