We have had a nice steady trickle of news about Star Wars Battlefront 2 since E3 2017, but we all want to know more about the single player campaign. It is cool that multiplayer gameplay will feature levels from across all three Star Wars trilogies, but gamers want to know more about the story mode. We were not disappointed at D23 2017.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 will feature a female protagonist, Iden, played by Janina Gavankar. The game takes place right after the end of the Return of the Jedi. We see Iden watch as the Death Star 2 explodes. Players will be playing from the perspective of the Empire as they figure out how to pick up the pieces. You will control Iden, Commander of Inferno Squad, as you figure out a way forward without the Emperor. Please take a look at the behind the scenes first look that was just shown off at D23.

Disney also announced a new AR headest with a Star Wars demo at D23 2017.
