Splatoon 2 Nintendo Direct Coming Thursday
Perhaps they will unveil a new coat of paint for the game.
Splatoon 2 will continue to get lots of love from "The Big N" as it approaches launch on Nintendo Switch later this month. A new Nintendo Direct focusing on the paint-em-up game will be coming on Thursday, July 6, at 7 a.m. PT / 10 a.m. ET.
According to the official site, the livestream will be to focus on "some of the new features" coming to the Nintendo Switch title. The last Nintendo Direct for the game back in April revealed a Horde mode where players will run around collecting salmon eggs. Nintendo also announced that three amiibos will be coming for the game - Inkling Girl, Inkling Boy, and Inkling Squid - that let you save outfits, weapons and loadouts for when you play with friends on a friend's Switch.
There are no other details, but it is likely that more info will continue to be thrown - or splattered - against the wall to see what sticks with fans until the game launches on July 21.
