Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered Standalone Is Now Official
PlayStation 4 players will get it first on June 27 as previously rumored.
After all the rumors and informed speculation, the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered standalone game has been finally confirmed by Activision. The game will be coming first to the PlayStation 4 on June 27. It will come to PC and Xbox One sometime later, likely late next month.
While the news should be greeted warmly by fans of the series, Activision's course reversal on a standalone version coming may irk fans who were forced to purchase a deluxe edition of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare to get the Modern Warfare Remastered as a bonus. Activison had steadfastly denied that a standalone would come. The good news is that now, if you only want Modern Warfare Remastered, you'll only need to drop $39.99 instead of paying full price for an Infinite Warfare deluxe pack.
The standalone will include all of the missions and 16 maps from the original game. It will not include the $15 standalone "Variety Map Pack."

Having said that I'd totally pay that for a Modern Warfare 2 remaster if it included Special Ops.
Hope this is true:
