Paradox Interactive has been busy, giving us two separate announcements today. One had the stellar isometric RPG Pillar of Eternity making its way to consoles on August 29, and the other has Cities: Skylines moving to PS4 after a positive reception on Xbox One.

Pillars of Eternity: Compete Edition, which will sell for $50 for both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions, will include the base game and the two-part White Marsh expansions, as well as all the updates and tweaks in-between that made it to the PC version. It is being ported to console by Paradox Arctic, which is working closely with original developer Obsidian Entertainment to ensure the same quality experience.

Pillars of Eternity made a great showing on PC back in 2015, making Shacknews' Top 10 for the year. The game and both expansions did so well that developer Obsidian Entertainment successfully crowdfunded a sequel, Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire, earlier this year.

As for Cities: Skylines, Paradox revealed that the game will be getting a release on PlayStation 4 on August 15. The game is being ported to PS4 by Tantalus Media, "redesigned for console players with controller-friendly gameplay and UI." The new edition will include the base game and the After Dark expansion. Three other expansions have released for the game - Snowfall, Mass transit and Natural Disasters - but none of those were mentioned. The Xbox One version released on April 21.
