E3 2017: Uncharted: The Lost Legacy Coming August 22
Sony kicks off its press conference with the next installment in the Uncharted series.
Sony showed off a new trailer for Uncharted: The Lost Legacy featuring treasure hunter Chloe Frazer and mercenary Nadine Ross, and it was pretty much non-stop action. When the gunplay, punching and explosions finally died down, we found out the game is almost done and will be coming out on August 22.
The new standalone story in the Uncharted series takes a new direction without Nathan Drake, who retired after Uncharted 4. Frazier and Ross, who will travel to the Western Ghats mountains in India hunting for a lost artifact, have been seen in previous games, but as minor characters. Chloe was in Uncharted 2, and had previously been in a relationship with Drake. Ross is from South Africa and had a part in Uncharted 4, as one of the lieutenants of primary bad guy Rafe Adler.
Pre-orders have started, with players getting a free copy of Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy and a Lost legacy dynamic theme.
