Following the announcement of Rise of the Necromancer, a new character-based expansion pack for Diablo 3 at last year's BlizzCon, Blizzard has rolled out the introduction cinematic for the Necromancer class. Staying true to the other available classes, the Necromancer comes in male and female varieties. Likewise, you can watch the cinematic with male or female narration.

Diablo 3: Rise of the Necromancer is currently in closed beta. Unlike 2014's Reaper of Souls expansion, Rise of the Necromancer will not include a new act for the game's campaign. Instead it will center on the Necromancer—a fan-favorite class from 2000's Diablo 2—and introduce cosmetic items as well as additional stash and character slots.

Like its Diablo 2 counterpart, Diablo 3's Necromancer boasts a wide array of skills rooted in controlling undead minions. Rise of the Necromancer will launch alongside patch 2.6.0. Blizzard has not revealed a release date for Rise of the Necromancer nor the upcoming patch.
