This is pretty neat. The NYT has an interactive calculator to help figure out whether it makes more sense to rent or to buy a house. You can also work it in reverse to figure out how expensive a house you could get (roughly) given your current rent.

and I gotta post back and say it's fucking awesome! I'm no grill master, but if you haven't done a marinade with sugar and fish sauce, then you should give this a try. I only did garlic, fish sauce, soy sauce, sugar and dried cilantro and it turned out to be delicious. Could've used some heat, but the recipe above includes a dipping sauce so I can't hate. Anyway, the sugar didn't burn and it was great. Much love.
