So, I've been working on my Solo Indie game (a Heavy Metal Open World Horror Game) and today I announced my composer. I know quite a few of you here like metal so I figured I'd post it.

I'm pretty excited about it! It's Clifford Meyer from the bands ISIS and Red Sparowes. It was always one of my favorite bands and when going to license their music, I ended up getting him as a composer! \m/

Boss called me into his office this morning. Owner & CEO were there. Figured I was getting fired laid off like everyone else.

Ended up being my annual review... 6 months late.

Anyway, walked out with an 11% raise. Still don't make any money but 11% is 11% and I'll take it. So yay me I guess.

Found these, still in the original envelope, cleaning out a closet since I'm moving for the first time in 13 years.

The original /*signed*/ letter from Steve Gibson and T-Shirt (2XL cause I was a little bigger back then) thanking me for saving the shack. Loved the quake content back in the day, and was happy to send an actual check to Steve and help him out.
