The next step for the union is to engage in collective bargaining negotiations with Marvel Studios execs in order to draft a contract that addresses the workers’ needs. As of now, negotiation dates have yet to be scheduled.

Graduated college on Friday, today is my first real day off in years, with a couple weeks here and there for Christmas. What did I do? Played Elden Ring for 8 hours straight, culminating with beating Malenia and moving into the last area of the game.

I am going to be taking at least 1.5 months off before I begin to work, so I have a shit ton of games I intend to play. Feels good!

After 1,189 Corona Buckets, we bring this to an end. Thank you all for indulging me and sitting through these last 3 years figuring things out. HUGE thanks to mojoald for godfathering this and making it a fun part of my daily routine (I'm a creature of habit, so I'm sorry if I forget and accidentally post tomorrow). Thanks also to watcherxp and Ride-My-Rocket for helping with the backend development help! I've learned a lot from you all and really appreciate everything.

Pandemic is over, y'all! Now back to our regularly scheduled programming.

A quick heads up that Shack Browse 7.0.8 should be rolling out to the Play Store fairly soon. It has a fix to re-enable inline Twitter compact view, and a crash fix for opening a webview with some links.

Development will probably slow down for a while. My next item will be to try and get background checking of Shack messages working again. After that it's getting push notifications working again which has both server side and client side changes required so it's going to be a while.

Car nonsense update: So I couldn’t find a dealer in CO who wanted less than a 10k premium over MSRP on a Civic Si. Well, I found one that didn’t add any nonsense dealer options, but they wanted a $7k market adjustment, larger than any of the others. I even emailed a couple of sales managers, and tried to logic with them that if they came down on the price, and I came in with a trade-in, they’d actually make more money than if I bought an Si at $39k with my own financing. None of them even gave me the dignity of a reply.

So I bought an Acura Integra A-Spec w/ Technology Package and manual transmission… for $37k.

I worked on this on the CG side, and got to work with Fincher directly. It was an amazing experience that I'm super proud of. Fincher is so fucking smart, and I learned a ton from him. Can't wait for y'all to see it.
