After she told me on Saturday, I got obsessed on Sunday. I had to know. Not knowing was driving me insane. So I did some … things while she was driving our daughter and her bestie to camp.
First looked into ATT call records and found a lot of calls to the same number. Not a number I recognized. Binging the number gave me nothing. I called it from my work phone, but it went to voicemail.
I went to work on Monday, and pretty much went eyeball deep into whatever I could find that would keep my mind off this nightmare. I called the number again, and the guy actually answered. It was a short conversation. He said "hello?" and I said "Are you the guy?" He said "Who?" I said, "Exactly, are you the guy?" then he hung up.
Bopped onto Facebook in a lull and I see a neighborhood post about landscaping recommendations from a few months back, and sure enough there's his name and the number. I typed up a response of "<His name> does great work, and our pavers look amazing. Just don't let him fuck your wife." Finger was hovering over the enter key, but then I closed the browser window and deactivated my account.

6 wowsMission and surrounding area got fucking rocked. We're out of power, limb ripped the power line off my neighbors house - so sounds like we're not expecting to have power for next few days.
Thankfully, no major damage to our house or rental out in Lenexa. Tons of large limb cleanup over the new few weeks.
