Hey, everyone! Been a minute since I checked in with you all. It's been a busy few weeks for us all. (Still is for some of us, myself included)

I wanted to stop by and say thank you for visiting Shacknews. Extra thanks to those who have supported our efforts, whether it's watching our Twitch streams and/or E3 and E5 content, checking out our stuff on YouTube, clicking and reading an article, or even if it's just hanging out in Chatty.

Andrew, a former art director colleague of mine made this tribute video to his homeland of Australia using photogrammery techniques we have used in our games for a while but in this case he is using Unreal and this video looks freaking amazing.

I got a job!

After a 12 week search, I landed an excellent new gig. Lead Engineer at Modal (modalup.com) that's fully remote, no set PTO, some equity, and a big ol' salary - just about 60% more than my last job.
