I imagine that level of burden really slants the jury pool in a certain direction. I can't think of a ton of people who can afford to take a month off of work, and live on $25/day. -

this happened over 60 years ago, and the doc is long-since dead.
all of this was in the LA area, and my husband unknowingly went to the same medical school as one of his half-brothers, they never shared classes, but they were at the same parties together. crazy world.
