A man has been crushed to death by a robot in South Korea after it failed to differentiate him from the boxes of food it was handling.
The robotic arm, confusing the man for a box of vegetables, grabbed him and pushed his body against the conveyer belt, crushing his face and chest, South Korean news agency Yonhap said.

I was living in a fairly wealthy neighbourhood in Toronto (upper beaches-ish) and there are some large houses there.
One of them changed hands recently before halloween (like 1 week before) and the house was just barren, with like shipping containers next to it with the new owner's stuff.
They set out a huge spread of cookies and coffee and stuff in the front yard, and basically left *all* the doors unlocked and ajar. The new owner's stuff was not in there yet (all locked up in the containers) so the house was totally empty. And then the owner told everyone that they were going to do reno's in some of the basement rooms and so they went all out... took crowbars and basically let people tear shit down, filled it with "imitation blood" tons of skeletons and gore everywhere. It was a warzone in there.... they turned a part of the basement into a graveyard
the next day it was like nothing happened and the contractors started the reno like nothing happened. -

6 wowsAlready been there. Drowned in the 2000s. Jet ski accident and I opened my eyes from the bottom of a lake. I thought "Wow, I'm tired. I don't think I can make it to the surface. Wow, there is the sun, a fish, a turtle and a snake. I should just take a nap first. After the nap I'll go to the surface. Wow, there is the sun, a fish, a turtle and a snake." Everything just went black. Next thing I knew I could hear someone say, "He isn't breathing." and "He's turned blue." and "Hide your shit, we are gonna have to call the police." I managed to flip myself over and evacuate my lungs. It felt like I had to caught up algae for a week.
It always kinda bugged me that there was no light at the end of the tunnel, just darkness and a high from oxygen deprivation. -
