there's also thing where acid reflux goes up into your brain, and your stomach contents (including stomach acid) interacts with the CSF leak and your stomach acid leaks into your brain and starts dissolving your brain from the inside out.
stomach acid is strong enough to dissolve cartilage, so it can basically eat its way up your soft pallet, into your inner ear, past the skull and right into the brain, and that's when you get brain infections (from the bits of food carried up with the acid) together with a melting brain.

I just got a bill because the company that provides a piece of medical equipment she used during recovery was not in network. -
16 wtfsSo I am on a road trip with my family and we stopped in Arkansas at a hotel, and grabbed dinner at a restaurant next door. The table next to us consists of a man, his wife, and what I thought at first was 4 daughters, the youngest of which looked to be MAYBE 2 1/2 or 3.
As I’m eating my chips I overhear the wife talking to the toddler girl, who replies with something like “I don’t have to listen to you” but I am paraphrasing because it was basically baby talk because she is so little. They are directly to my side so I can’t see easily without obviously looking.
I take a drink and hear a smack, smack, smack, smack, smack (like 6 or 7) in rapid succession. I thought it was clapping at first but finally in horror realize she is slapping the toddler. I glance over and the little girl is just sitting on the bench next to her in silence.
I am in shock but also in Arkansas so I try to stay out of it.
I go back to eating but then after a few minutes I hear the little girl just babbling like a toddler and the the wife loudly says “BLAH BLAH BLAH, that’s what you sound like when you don’t shut up.”
The little girl gets quiet again, then a few minutes later I hear the wife again talking to the toddler girl “get that thumb out of your mouth you little baby, how about I stick my thumb in there if you like it so much” and then grabs the girl’s head and JAMS her thumb into the girl’s mouth until the girl starts struggling and crying out. The husband quietly says “Stop it” but not in a horrified way but in a “people are noticing” way.
The wife continues to taunt and mock the child, and then grabs the girl’s hair and starts jerking her head around and saying “I’m putting spiders in your hair” but what got me was the force she was using to jerk the girl’s head around.
But here’s the worst part. The wife’s phone rings and it is a video call. She starts talking to another woman, and I deduce from the convo that the wife at the table is talking to the little girl’s actual mother. These people are on a road trip and taking care of the child (she is the only one NOT one of the wife’s kids.) But then the wife tells the mother “by the way, your daughter has been pinching herself, look at all these bruises she gave herself. Always pinching herself and now she is bruised. Oh yeah she’s also been sucking her thumb, you better get on that.” Then they say goodbye and get up and leave with the girl.
During all of that I am in shock. I don’t know what to do. I am angry with myself that I didn’t say something or record it or should I have called the police? It was a busy restaurant and I had my family there but now I am sad and angry because I feel like I should have done something :( -
16 wtfsMy in-laws told me to get out of my own house after my wife asked me to leave for a week to give her space, which became two weeks, which became a month, which became indefinite. I asked them to leave my bedroom so I could come back and sleep, and I show up two days later and they're still there. When I told them they had no legal standing, they actually objected, said they knew their legal rights, told me it "was time for me to leave" and they were "losing their respect of me" and they felt "intimidated."

16 wtfsQuite a few other bands: Hold My Beer.
Foo Fighters are fine and popular and it sucks the drummer died but they aren't the biggest band in the world whether you measure biggest by most album/ticket sales, number of members, popular vote, critic's choice, lifetime achievements, etc.
Here's a bunch of lists they didn't make:

16 wtfsTragic loss for music fans, Taylor Hawkins was found dead in Bogota prior to Foo Fighters playing a festival there. https://twitter.com/foofighters/status/1507552958988255234?s=21
