So I started to blog about my experiences in pushing myself down the long road towards employable proficiency in web development. There might be some stuff here you can relate to or that you may find interesting/informative: http://iblog.everyotherweekorso.com/2014/02/10/web-development-reflex-game-jquery-javascript/ -
11 tagsStreet Fighter 2 - An Oral History
http://www.polygon.com/a/street-fighter-2-oral-history
When Capcom moved its studios to a new building, [Yasuda] went to every floor and laid down to see how it felt to sleep there. Every floor.
...
At one point, [Yasuda] wanted to live a healthy life, so he said, "OK I'm going to drink milk." So he'd always buy these little packs of milk. He'd be working, and then he'd reach down to his little milk packs and drink them. Around his desk, he had like 100 of these packs. So he'd grab one, shake it, and whenever he'd find one with milk in it, he'd drink it and put it back, without even looking at it. And he never knew what the expiration dates were. So he started drinking milk to be healthy, but he was always complaining he had diarrhea.
Fucking lol. I don't like fighting games much, but this is a great read. -

11 tagsI was brand new to card games and found this worked out really well for a super noob. I am now starting to average 4-6 wins on Arena which makes the game even better because I am almost a quest of two away from the next arena.
#1) beat every tutorial game on normal and expert, get a bunch of gold
#2) get every class rank 10 playing unranked, even though it is a bit of a struggle, work on whatever quests you have that day.
#3) make these decks (all basic cards) http://i.imgur.com/OmfQKEG.png
#4) it is unreal how easy unranked is with these decks, just hop on and do your quests everyday and soon you will have 800 gold to spend however you please.
#5) go 0-3 and 1-3 in a bunch of Arenas until you get the hang and/or run out of gold, repeat step #4 until you start to win.
